Take a glance at any fashion site or just scroll through Instagram & you will see there are a lot of summer fashion trend floating around. There are very few weather restrictions so style is at an all-time high for a lot of people during this season. However, as for most trends each season, the more options, the more difficult to find what styles suit you. For me this summer it’s all about shades of white, neutrals, summer suits, textures, square toe sandals & baguette bags. Below are my must haves to keep cool & chic from day to night.
Summer White
I always love white but especially in the summer. A white shirt, dress/skirt, and suit; that’s basically my uniform. I have been wearing this cream silk skirt at every opportunity I get…I have a love for all things silk & this skirt is so on trend with its bias midi cut. I wear it with sandals during the day, then add a bit of lipstick, some strappy heels & my vintage Prada baguette bag for an evening out.
The Short Suit
A short suit is such a chic alternative to a pant suit on hot days. To keep the look very refined you can wear sneakers or some chic sandals with it. I lean towards high waisted suit shorts ( gotta be able to pair some crop tops with them). To elongate your legs, make sure the suit shorts are tailored to a short length. I honestly love a two- suit because you have two pieces to style…literally so many options to wear each piece. I always wear my blazer over dresses or with tank tops and jeans…it’s my favorite piece I own.

Shoulder bags

One-shoulder tops
Basic tank tops can feel a bit stale when you wear them often so I’m loving the one-shoulder top to switch things up a bit. I pair mine with midi skirts, tie waisted shorts, and Re/done denim. For a night out I put on my chain necklace & some heels for instant chic vibes.
Square-toe sandals
From flip-flops to heels I’m almost always stepping out in square-toe shoes. Sleek & barely-there straps are my favorite…they exude effortless style. I like to wear my Everlane strappy sandals with a midi skirt & a blazer for daytime sophistication. To change things up for a night out, I love to wear heeled strappy square-toe sandals with suit pants & a crop top.
