Pre Spring 2019 with the Stockholm Fashion Week girls

As we are still processing what we’ve experienced on the runway of Copenhagen’s fashion week earlier this month, this week’s spring/summer 2019 Stockholm Fashion Week is hitting us with new standards with the funkiest outfits imaginable. September is just starting and those stylish Scandi gals are already inspiring us with their super ability of putting together colorful head to toe looks. The remarkable thing about it is the versatility of items. They manage to pull off the same Pamp shoe in different colors and the same bag with different prints.

Contrarily to other big Fashion Weeks, during which the street style stars usually stick to wearing the brands presented in the fashion shows, in Stockholm fashion week the diversity of brands is impressive, resulting in outfits consisting of unique, fashion-forward layering play.

Another trend that we can’t ignore is the Bucket Hat, and I don’t mean the ordinary version of it. This upgraded Bucket Hat has a wider brim, it is made of unconventional materials such as PVC and presented in uber cool patterns. Definitely an edgy addition to an everyday look.
As for the runway, the Swedish brands are just as fascinating as the street-style outfits. From Filippa K who’s known for his timelessness key items, the use of natural tones and typical Scandinavian vibes in his collections, to the shoes and accessories designers, such as Little Liffner who collaborated with the artist Evelina Kroon in creating the colorful display installation form presentation. Besides these, Maria Nilsdotter and ATP Atelier had elevated their runways by bringing on the finest, most powerful women to rock the catwalk.
