I follow several Interior design ones I have a passion for midcentury and Danish interior.

My favorite ones at the moment because my new apartment is under construction are @perre.yovanovitch @coveteur @mydomaine

Are you more of a shoe person or a bag person?

Definitely a shoe person! I used to have my own show line that I hope to relaunch eventually when the time comes.

Have you ever wore an outfit and regretted it once you’ve seen it in the pictures?

Of course but at the end Fashion is an eternal restart so eventually these pieces will be cool again:) When I was living in NY I got these massive Miu Miu clogs with a shearling inside, that I then hated but now I would be happy to wear them again but of course I donated them years ago.

We love your style, can you share with us some styling tips?

Thanks so much! I think anything high waisted is so cool I am obsessed with High waisted vintage Levis and Old Celine pants. I really invest in good outerwear pieces, and accessories, I think if you have the right coat or jacket with beautiful shoes, it makes the look.

What is the favorite part about your job?

I love meeting new people and I have been learning a lot from them, and traveling of course and get to discover new cities I recently discover Copenhagen and Istanbul for work and I loved it. Unfortunately, when I travel for work I don’t have enough time to city stroll but it’s still very fulfilling.

For those who follow your account, it seems like you have the perfect job. What would you say is the hardest part about it?

Of course I love my job and I am very grateful everyday for this. But it could be sometimes a bit hard during Fashion month to travel a lot and be away from my kids but I always catch up my absence by spending more time with them after these times and bring them surprises from abroad.

Instagram is flooded with fashion influencers who maintain unique and attractive accounts. How do you manage to stay relevant?

Well it might seem cliche but I try to stay myself with the looks I chose and the collaborations I make. The looks I style I also am in my life, I don’t ‘disguise’ myself. I sometimes get very attractive work proposals but if it’s not matching my aesthetic and values I won’t do it, it’s really how I feel about it, if I don’t feel comfortable with it I prefer to decline.

What would you recommend to someone who is looking to make it in this industry?

The same thing try to be yourself and not copy anyone, we are all unique and worthy:)

Many fashion bloggers and influencers had used their knowledge and exposure to shift into designing. Is this something you see in your future?

I already had my shoe line Erin Adamson that was working great I created Erin Off Duty at the same time, but Erin Off Duty took off faster than expected and unfortunately I couldn’t run both businesses at the same time, so I put the shoe line on hold but who knows it might be relaunched in the future.

You have a busy schedule, how do you manage your career with your family life?

I talk a lot to my kids and explain everything I do so they exactly know why I am traveling and away when it happens, my husband also travels often but we try not to travel at the same time so there is at least one of us with the kids. Also they have the best nanny which is the most valuable thing! During weekends we mostly stay together and have quality time.

Tell us about a good place to eat in Paris?

Wow there a lot! I have a few favorites, my lunch canteen is definitely Toraya which is closed to my office, my friend Liza does the best Lebanese cuisine, Kunitoraya for udon, in the evening Le Petit Lutetia (French Brasserie)

@erinoffduty

What is your favorite vacation spot?

We often spend one month in LA in the Summer where we have many friends living, the kids enjoy the Summer day camps and we just live the Cali lifestyle, in the Winter we love Marrakech.

Could you describe to our readers a day in the life of Géraldine Boublil

I wake up at 7 to prepare my kids to school, my husband usually takes them if not I will take them and go straight to the gym/ Pilates close by. Then emails, I often get work lunches. Lately I have been super busy with working with my architect on the new place, so I would spend time in the afternoon interior researching. I usually shoot once a week a few looks with my photographer that I will post later on my Insta. I also started to do some styling work with some brands, for lookbooks, shooting etc…I usually come back home around 6.30, help my daughter with her homework and cuddle time with my babies. If I don’t have a work event to attend my husband and I go to movies or dinner with friends. I can’t wait for my new kitchen to finally cook for my friends and host more dinners after almost 6 months in my temporary place.
