PFW SS2019 was all about extra upper body style

After NYFW, MFW and LFW gave us some major trends, it was PFW’s turn to blow our minds. Even though Some might say that the French week was disappointing and didn’t really present any new and refreshing trends, we’ve noticed that Paris was all about being extra. Forget about blending in the crowd, because huge shoulders and sleeves are about to take over your closet. frankly, We’re obsessed.

The trend’s first debut of PFW ss19 was at the Dior show, then again at Jacquemus and continued to appear in shows such as Esteban Cortazar, Sacai, Balmain, Luis Buchinho, Situationist, Off-white, Chloe and more. Not only fashion brands fell in love with bold shoulders and sleeves, but also fashion influencers. The streets of Paris were packed with bloggers, editors, models, singers and actors wearing this extra trend.

Shoulder pads and long sleeves are not something we never saw before, but ss19 is about brave styling decisions and unique combinations. Don’t be afraid to wear fluffy sleeves with floral pants and sparkling boots, the more the merrier. For those of you who prefer a classic look, make sure you mix and match fashion month trends – an earthy tone coat with shoulder pads and a huge belt will be a perfect look for you (you’re welcome).

Whether you were blown away by PFW style or a bit disappointed, you can’t argue with the fact that this trend is the next big thing (got it?). can’t wait for ss19!
